About General Assistance
As a private non-profit, Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC) Serves low income individuals and families in the counties of:
- Allamakee,
- Bremer,
- Chickasaw,
- Clayton,
- Fayette,
- Howard and Winneshiek in Northeast Iowa. Click here to visit their website.
NEICAC Programs
NEICAC Operates a large variety of programs through it's seven county service area.
Some, but not all, of these programs are:
Early Childhood Education (Head Start and Early Head Start),
Housing, Family Services,
EARL Pulbic Transit, and Energy Assistance.
Each program has it's own eligibility requirements.
The majority of the programs base eligibility on income.
